Happy Native American Day - Today we recognize all first nation and indigenous cultures across planet earth who were slaughtered, murdered and experienced massive genocide from colonialism.

Although it is a time of much grief, much pain, much despair, we do not ask that you take on the blame for your ancestors, but acknowledge and stop pretending it didnt happen.

Show compassion for us, show compassion more than ever, because we were almost completely wiped off the face of the earth. BUT WE ARE STILL HERE.

When you celebrate thanks giving traditionally, you celebrate the massacre of my culture for hundreds of years. You celebrate Christopher Columbus's rape and pillage of native americans. You celebrate what you were programmed and brainwashed into thinking was ok.

It is not your fault, but when you KNOW exactly what happened and you still celebrate it the way you use to celebrate, you contribute to the celebration of a genocide. You contribute to saying its ok to murder and destory cultures the way they did mine.

We are not savages, we are a beautiful people with beautiful peaceful values that brings kindness and solitude to the land and your lives.

We are peoples that have a stronger connection to the land than most. We are protectors of the land. We were put on this earth to bring peace and happiness, love, cutlure, tradition. We are the epidome of STRENGTH, POWER and WILLINESS to fight and NEVER GIVE UP!
